2012 Audi A6 Review
As Audi continues its inexorable march on German territory occupied by exalted performance BMW and Mercedes-Benz, the A6 sedan in front of the E-Class from Daimler and BMW 5 Series - and perform with credit.
2012 Audi A6 is a saloon-style clear who can provide good fuel economy, if specced out. But the price of the highest grades of fuel will keep the Audi's continuously variable transmission (CVT).
We have not driven a new 2012 A6 equipped with a CVT yet, but it's the same drive for the installation of the previous generation, where the hum of the engine noise could not mask a performance little 'slow. We can only hope we are wrong, and this transmission that Audi is polished in the same way they have been shaped by other A6 series.
2012 Audi A6 Base is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder CVT and front-wheel drive.
EPA rates Audi A6 2012 to 25 mpg city, 33 mpg highway and 28 mpg in a summit when it is combined with 2.0-liter four. This applies to either the transmission, CVT, or more conventional automatic. And it is remarkably strong, just a few numbers much cheaper sedan such as Toyota Camry or Hyundai Sonata.
More exciting for the fans of the green car is the Audi A6 will receive the promised two diesel engines and hybrid models in North America, but unfortunately will not come this year
The A6 engine choice is a 310-horsepower direct-injection turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission and quattro AWD system with four wheels.
Order this big engine (the only way to get all-wheel drive) and fuel consumption drops to 19 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, for an overall rating of 23 mpg. It's not bad, but all four are much better if you can live without Quattro.
The style is the usual form of the strong Audi, though more elegant, the most characteristic image A7 sedan is much more money - and sharing many of the same equipment and furnishings - comes off as the A6 and the limit goes unnoticed all his Audi own.
We wondered if this will hurt the sales of silver, or a conservative German sedan is just what the doctor (or dentist, or lawyer or banker, broker, or), ordered in these uncertain times.
Inside, the "Quinta" was in the back seat is really just a sample, adults do not want to travel there for long. But it has the advantage of the features of technology to reduce as much of the A7 and A8, as Google Earth charts.
There is also an optional wireless Internet access (but you can get in a Subaru), a rear view camera and blind spot detection, and Bluetooth connectivity, of course. The best music, the model with a Bang & Olufsen 15-speaker full model only comes in high-end prestige.
2012, Toyota Camry hybrid car Review
In 2012, Toyota Camry hybrid car is a stealth green, pack a version of Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive, the Prius, the Camry Hybrid is very similar to a standard Camry four-cylinder or V-6, but at 43 mpg EPA city rating (LE) in fact one of the cars the most fuel efficient of all sizes.
By 2012, the redesigned Camry Hybrid returns with the rest of the line Camry, but Toyota has stepped to another level with this model. To achieve this, Toyota has installed a new 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle four-cylinder, replaced all accessory drive belts that stay with those with electric motors, and redesigned the inverter and battery. The latest change has a trunk space smaller, lighter battery, and (13.1 cubic feet, a 10.6).
In terms of passengers Camry Hybrid does not feel much different than standard Camry. There is much room for adults, the rear (where Toyota conservative roof worth it), and the ride is smooth and well insulated. Coatings and finishes are also significantly altered. The only significant compromise made with the Hybrid is that you give up folding rear seat, do not get the trunk pass-through, however.
For the first time, Camry Hybrid comes in two trim levels. 2012 Camry Hybrid comes with standard dual-zone air conditioning LE, cruise control and a hands-free interface, but the XLE models add alloy wheels, chrome trim, fog lights, heated mirrors, and other extras .
